bullet Directors - Meet monthly (meetings in summer are sometimes not held due to scheduling difficulty). The date and place is chosen at or after the end of the prior meeting and is posted at the CDM Park when date and place has been chosen. Any member may request notification of the place, date and time.

 Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

The ARC consists of three local architects who are employed by the Association. The architects review plans submitted by residents who want to make minor and/or major changes to their home and/or landscape. Any changes to a structure must be submitted to the Association.  In most cases there is a fee involved for this process.

An Application and the Requirements can be faxed or mailed by request.  The Application and Requirements can also be obtained by downloading from the "Forms" page of this website. (Adobe Reader required)

Please click on underlined "downloading" to go to Forms page.

Corona del Mar Park (CDM Park)

Corona del Mar Park is a community property owned by the HPPOC and is intended for the use of Huntington residents. The Park is gated by a  wrought iron fence accessible by two gates which do not require a key at this time.

CDM Park is a large grassy area overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There are benches conveniently situated to enjoy the remarkable panoramic view. This is a family park and dogs are welcome but people come first. Rules apply; please read them below.

bullet  Dog Tags

HPPOC resident dogs are allowed in the park but must have an HPPOC license. To obtain a license please download an application and Rules or call the office to request an application and rules via fax or mail. Fees are $10.00 per tag. Dogs may be off their leash in the park, but if you are asked by a HP resident to leash you dog, then YOU MUST LEASH YOUR DOG. If you are asked to leash your dog and you do not comply, your dog tag will be cancelled and you will no longer be allowed to bring your dog to the Park.
Please click on underlined "download" to go to Forms page.

Trash cans, “poopie” bags and scoopers are provided. PLEASE clean up after your pet. The Park is for everyone; when one person chooses not to clean up, it affects all. Please be courteous and respectful of others.

bullet  Parties & Weddings

The Park is available for parties and weddings. It is available to both HPPOC members and Non HPPOC residents (Non-HPPOC members must be sponsored by an HPPOC resident). Rental of the Park does not grant exclusivity. Please either download or call the office to have the information faxed or mailed. Fees apply for rental.

     Filming in the Huntington

The Huntington Palisades is a very popular location for filming.

The HPPOC requires a location company to pay a fee and obtain an HPPOC Permit to film in the Huntington.  Our Filming Rules and Regulations are on file with FilmL.A., Inc. of the City of Los Angeles.

If you are approached by a location company to film on your property, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to inform the location manager(s) that they must obtain permits issued by the HPPOC and FilmL.A., Inc. in order to film in the HP.

Download Rules and an Application, or call the office to have the information faxed or mailed. Please click on underlined "Download" to go to Forms page.

bullet Filming is limited to two times per calendar year and ten aggregate days (or portions thereof) per calendar year.
bullet Filming is Monday through Friday 7am to 10pm – No filming on weekends.
bullet $1000 p/day for filming, $750 p/day for prep and strike.
bullet $750 p/day for still shoots.
bulletCheck the Film Rules page for "Special Lessened Impact Still Shoots" & fees.

The fees charged by the HPPOC for filming are used to help defray costs of the CDM Park, our islands, parkway maintenance and general beautification of our neighborhood.  We support filming in California and want to maintain a positive relationship between the filming industry and our members. This can only be achieved if both parties follow the filming rules.

     Committees

Committees are formed outside the Board of Directors to help facilitate projects important to the community. Please volunteer for a committee and become involved in your community.

bullet

Party in the Park

This committee was formed to keep our community close-knit and to “know your neighbors”. This has become an annual event held in the Park. Each year, the party includes an “In and Out Burger” stand, the Om pah Pah Band and other festivities. The fee is $5 per person. This event takes a lot of preparation and organization. Please contact the office for further information or to volunteer.

bullet

P.R.I.D.E.

While this committee is  not affiliated with the HPPOC, most are Huntington residents who are campaigning to landscape the island in the Huntington at Alma Real and Ocampo. Send in your tax deductible donations payable to Palisades PRIDE-Huntington Median or volunteer. For more information about this, you can read about it in our latest Herald. Just click on "The Herald" button on the left and read the article in the August issue, page 3.
