Palisades Beautiful- Did you know that Palisades Beautiful is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that plants trees to enhance the beauty and environmental health of our community? If you choose to have a tree, Palisades Beautiful will obtain the necessary city permit, notify the city Dig Alert office to check each tree site for underground cables, etc., and coordinate the planting process. You will need to deep water the tree every week for one month, and then once a month for a year. The total cost of $200 will be covered by Palisades Beautiful. The tree is free to you, but any donation (tax deductible) to their tree planting and maintenance fund would be greatly appreciated.
