Did You Know?  It has been reported at the Potrero Canyon meeting that Pacific Palisades is over watering and it is affecting the hillside. Please be aware that the HPPOC will be driving around the neighborhoods to check for puddles and excess water. If we see puddles in front of your house, you will be receiving a letter from HPPOC-especially those people along Chapala and Ocampo.

Palisades Beautiful- Did you know that Palisades Beautiful is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that plants trees to enhance the beauty and environmental health of our community? If you choose to have a tree, Palisades Beautiful will obtain the necessary city permit, notify the city Dig Alert office to check each tree site for underground cables, etc., and coordinate the planting process. You will need to deep water the tree every week for one month, and then once a month for a year. The total cost of $200 will be covered by Palisades Beautiful. The tree is free to you, but any donation (tax deductible) to their tree planting and maintenance fund would be greatly appreciated. For more information, contact them at (310) 454-6484 or email at PalisadesBeautiful@earthlink.net.
